Authorities in Kuwait have uncovered an unlicensed central kitchen operating inside a residential property as part of ongoing enforcement efforts by the Ministry of Interior.
The operation, carried out by the Criminal Security Sector’s Financial Crimes Department, found that the site was being used to prepare and distribute food illegally, promoted through social media without proper approvals or regulatory oversight from the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition.
During a coordinated raid, officials identified multiple violations, including employing workers without valid health certificates, failing to meet hygiene standards, and running a food business without a license.
Seven workers were arrested at the site, and both the individuals and seized materials have been referred to the Public Prosecution for legal action.
Authorities stressed that inspection campaigns will continue in coordination with relevant agencies, warning that strict action will be taken against anyone violating laws to protect public health and safety.
