Kuwait City: Security authorities in Kuwait’s Jahra Governorate have arrested a domestic worker accused of threatening to kill a Gulf national sponsor at his residence.
According to security sources, the incident was reported to the Ministry of Interior’s operations room on Sunday night. Following the alert, a security patrol was immediately dispatched to the location.
Officers found the worker in what was described as an aggressive and emotionally distressed state. Authorities quickly intervened, taking the individual into custody and ensuring the safety of family members at the residence.
The sponsor reportedly informed security officials that he no longer wished to employ or accommodate the worker and requested legal action to be taken. He also sought procedures either to transfer the worker’s sponsorship or initiate deportation measures.
