Kuwait Moves to Improve Services for Citizens and Expats

Kuwait City: Kuwait has stepped up efforts to improve the quality of services provided to both citizens and expatriates while strengthening community engagement through closer cooperation between government bodies and social institutions.

As part of these efforts, Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Athbi Nasser Al-Athbi Al-Sabah met with members of the Popular Café Board of Directors to discuss ways to enhance collaboration and support community-focused initiatives.

The meeting was attended by Vice Chairman Dr Jassim Al-Kandari, Treasurer Abdul Mohsen Al-Makhiyal, and Secretary Abdullah Al-Mutairi. Discussions focused on expanding cooperation between the Farwaniya Governorate and the Popular Café to implement programmes and projects that benefit the local community.

The governor stressed that improving the quality of services for both Kuwaiti citizens and expatriates remains a key priority, in line with the country’s leadership’s directives and the public interest. He also highlighted the importance of continuous coordination between government agencies, private sector organisations and community institutions to achieve this goal.

Dr Jassim Al-Kandari expressed appreciation for the governor’s support for community organisations and reaffirmed the board’s commitment to working with various stakeholders to promote successful social initiatives and improve services for the public.
