Kuwait City: Of the 110,000 students registered for the covid vaccine, 90,000 were vaccinated, officials said. The Pfizer vaccine was approved immediately after it was found to be safe for people between the ages of 12 and 15 based on clinical trials. The Ministry of Health is working hard to make the full two-dose vaccine available to school children by next month.

Meanwhile, only 40 per cent of students across the country are registered for vaccination, officials said. The ministry was reminded of the need to be prepared to receive the vaccine to protect the health and safety of students and their families. It is believed that people over the age of 12 will be able to gain social immunity against the corona virus once they are vaccinated.
