93% OF STUDENTS AGED 16 AND ABOVE VACCINATED IN ABU DHABI

Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge has presented the execution of its Blue Schools Initiative after an increment in Covid-19 immunization reception to reach 37% among understudies going to the emirate's private and contract schools since the start of the scholarly year 2021/22. 


Intended to help schools getting back to normalcy as usual through the steady unwinding of preventive measures, the Blue Schools Initiative will presently dispatch two months early, with schools set to receive the rewards of the drive's advantages during term 1 of the current scholarly year. 

The move follows critical expansions in immunization rates among all understudy age bunches at present going to Abu Dhabi's Private and Charter Schools. Until now, 93% of understudies matured 16+, 68% of 12 to 15-year-olds, and 21 percent of under 12s have been immunized against Covid-19. 

Immunization of understudies under 16 remaining parts intentional, as indicated by government conventions.
