WARNING THAT THERE WILL BE HEAVY RAIN IN THE UAE FOR THE NEXT FIVE DAYS FROM TODAY

Dubai: The National Meteorological Center has warned that there will be heavy rain in the country from today. There will be strong winds and rain across the country for 5 days. An action plan has been prepared at the national level to deal with climate change. The plan was jointly prepared by the National Disaster Management Committee, Meteorological Centre, Ministry of Home Affairs, Defense and Energy Infrastructure Development and Police. 


Wind gusts of up to 45 km per hour are expected. Authorities advised people not to go near the sea, in high areas and watery areas and to be cautious.

Meanwhile, the Abu Dhabi Media Office said heavy rain is likely in the emirate from August 14 to 18. Officials have asked motorists to follow the speed limit and be more careful.
