ABU DHABI TO BUILD JAPAN'S FLYING BIKE

Dubai: Japan's flying bike (Turissimo) will be manufactured in Abu Dhabi next year. A flying bike costing Rs 6.71 crore (Dh 30 lakh) will be manufactured in Abu Dhabi. A bike with a speed of 100 km per hour can travel up to 40 km continuously. The single-seat flying bike weighs 300 kg and has a maximum carrying capacity of 100 kg. 


Global Marketing Executive Manager Yuma Takenaka said that Airwins, which currently manufactures up to 5 bikes per month in Japan, is working with the Abu Dhabi company to produce more. But the details of the UAE company were not disclosed.

There are also plans to make a bike that can be used by more people in the future. The company also revealed that it has sold 10 units in Japan so far.
