King Charles III crowned as monarch of UK

King Charles III was crowned monarch of the United Kingdom of Britain and Northern Ireland on Saturday, during the traditional ceremony which took place at Westminster Abbey. 

Charles, 74, and his wife, Queen Camilla, 75, later made their way back to Buckingham Palace in a lavish procession that was applauded by people lining the streets in spite of the steady rain.  Soon after, the family members appeared on the palace balcony to greet the cheering crowd below them, including the couple and their three children as well as Prince William, Kate, Princess of Wales, and their other two children.
