Messi named as the world's sportsman of the Year

Lionel Messi was named as the world's sportsman of the Year at Laureus World Sports Awards that took place in Paris. The PSG star made history by becoming the first athlete to receive the accolade both individually and as a member of the year's best team. Jamaican sprinter Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce was honoured the Sportswoman of the year.
