Ajay Banga selected as president of World Bank

Ajay Banga, an Indian American, became the first person of color to head the two major international financial organizations, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, on June 2. World Bank's Executive Directors chose Mr. Banga, 63, to serve as the organization's 14th President for a 5-year term on May 3.
