According to the interior minister, protests in France after the death of a teenager who was fatally shot by police at point-blank range have been more subdued. The worst clashes occurred in the southern city of Marseille, and there were 719 fewer arrests made than the previous nights.

Attackers rammed a car into the mayor's home in the Paris suburb of L'Ha-les-Roses, injuring his wife as she attempted to flee with their two children. Since a teenager was shot by a police officer, unrest has been prevalent in French cities.
