Indian man becomes world's richest beggar with net worth of $1 million

An Indian citizen has been named the "world's richest beggar" after he amassed an estimated $1 million in income from begging in Mumbai. According to the Financial Express, Bharat Jain, who was born into a lower class family, was unable to complete his formal education. As he was unable to secure a steady employment, he began begging on the streets to earn money. Currently, Bharat owns approximately 7.5 crore Rupees, which is one million USD.

According to the Indian Times, Jin makes around $728 a month begging, which enabled him to purchase a two-room residence and rent two shops for approximately $364 per month.
