Rescue workers in South Korea have pulled six bodies out of a flooded tunnel after days of torrential rain caused flash floods, landslides, and destruction of homes, leading to the death of over 30 people and the evacuation of thousands of people, according to officials.

Nearly 400 rescue workers including divers searched the tunnel in Cheongju, which was the scene of a bus and 15 other vehicles that were swept away by a flash flood on Saturday night, according to the fire department's chief.
