One of the twelve boys who were rescued from a cave in Thailand in 2018 has passed away in the United Kingdom, according to the BBC. Duangphet phromthep, aged 17, was found unconscious on Sunday in his dormitory in Leicester, and was taken to hospital on Tuesday. He had been enrolled in a football academy since the end of last year. He served as captain of the Thai Boys' Football Team, which was trapped in a cave for more than two weeks during an exploration in Chiang Rai Province.
