Muslim countries condemn Quran burning in Denmark

The desecration of a Quran outside the Iraqi embassy in Copenhagen by a group named "Danish Patriots" was strongly condemned by Iraq and some other Muslim nations.The incident follows a similar act by the same group on Friday, which was livestreamed on Facebook. 


Following the incident, a large number of demonstrators in Baghdad attempted to march on the Danish Embassy. Additionally, last week, crowds in Sweden set fire to the Swedish Embassy in Baghdad after a Quran was scheduled to be burned in Stockholm.
