Heatwaves kill 23 people in South Korea this year

The heatwave has killed an estimated 23 people in South Korea, which is more than triple the number of people who died at the same time last year. On Wednesday, the weather ministry raised the temperature warning to its highest level, the first time it's been that high in four years. Parts of the country have been baking in temperatures of over 38 degrees Celsius. On Tuesday, the president called on officials to take extra precautions to avoid more deaths.
