The Ministry of Commerce and Industry is moving to ban the sale and circulation of balloons and water pistols and sprayers at all commercial points of sale in Kuwait, while imposing major penalties for those who do not abide by the decision, including closing the point of sale and referring it to the prosecution.
Informed sources reported that the ban on the sale of balloons and water pistols and sprinklers, according to the expected decision from the ministry, will be limited to a specific period, including the month of February, after the ministry noticed numerous complaints of misuse of balloons, pistols, and water sprinklers during the national holiday period.
