The General Department of Security Media at the Ministry of Interior stated that, as part of the ongoing efforts of the criminal security sector in combating crimes and maintaining security, the General Department of Criminal Investigation “Jahra Governorate Investigation Department” was able to seize a local liquor factory in a desert area in the north of the country, after careful monitoring of the site.
The investigation operations resulted in the arrest of two people of Asian nationality, who were managing the liquor manufacturing process on the site. A large quantity of barrels used in the distillation process, manufacturing tools and 1,780 empty plastic bottles ready for filling were found, in addition to a large quantity of local liquor ready for sale.
