Assistant Director of Traffic Awareness at the General Traffic Department, Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Bu Hassan, said that using the horn for purposes other than its intended purpose is considered a traffic violation with a fine of 25 dinars.
Bu Hassan added in an interview with Kuwait TV that the penalty for the violation may reach imprisonment if the violation is referred to court and the judge issues a ruling to that effect, in addition to registering a point at the traffic checkpoints.
