A statement from the General Fire Force Command confirmed that drug testing is conducted periodically and continuously as part of a structured schedule covering all personnel. Tests are administered during promotion courses, appointment to supervisory roles, internal investigations, and through random screenings for both officers and non-commissioned officers. This systematic approach underscores the force’s zero-tolerance policy toward substance abuse.
