Sharjah Police Announce Successful NYE 2026 Security Plan, Responded to Over 7,700 Calls

Sharjah Police have announced the successful implementation of their comprehensive security plan for New Year’s Eve 2026, which ensured a safe and orderly celebration across the emirate. Over the holiday period, operations rooms responded to 6,620 emergency calls via 999 and 1,100 non-emergency inquiries through 901, providing round-the-clock assistance, guidance, and rapid response in line with the force’s high readiness standards.
