RTA Launches Bus Service from Al Rashidiya Metro to Global Village in Dubai

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has introduced a convenient bus service to help visitors reach Global Village without the stress of driving or parking. Route 102 connects Al Rashidiya Metro Station directly to Global Village, providing an affordable, sustainable travel option for residents and tourists. The service is designed to reduce road congestion and offer a comfortable alternative during the attraction’s busy season.

Buses depart from Al Rashidiya at specific times: 11:45 PM and 2:45 PM on Thursdays and Mondays, and 12:45 AM and 2:45 PM on Sundays and Fridays. Return trips from Global Village are scheduled at 12:30 AM and 3:30 AM on Thursdays and Mondays, and 1:30 AM and 3:30 AM on Sundays and Fridays. The hourly frequency makes it easy for visitors to plan their journeys around their preferred show timings and exploration schedule.

The RTA encourages the use of public transport to ease traffic around Global Village, which draws millions of visitors each season. By linking the Metro network with dedicated event buses, the authority aims to promote eco-friendly mobility while ensuring a smooth and accessible experience for all guests, especially during peak weekends and holidays.

With ample parking also available for those who drive, the new bus service complements existing transport options and supports Dubai’s wider sustainability goals. Whether visitors are exploring the cultural pavilions, enjoying live shows, or shopping at the global marketplace, the RTA’s enhanced connectivity makes it simpler to enjoy a full day—or night—at Global Village without the hassle of navigating traffic or searching for parking.
