Authorities in Qatar have introduced a new feature in the Metrash2 app, simplifying the process of checking and paying traffic fines. The update was announced by the Ministry of Interior as part of efforts to enhance digital public services.
With the new option, users can now view traffic violations not only for their own vehicles but also for others, such as those belonging to family or friends. By entering the vehicle plate number and QID, users can access violation details instantly.
The system allows users to select from multiple payment methods and complete transactions quickly. After payment, a digital receipt can be viewed and saved for future reference.
Officials said the feature is designed to improve convenience and accessibility, making it easier for residents to manage traffic fines through a user-friendly digital platform.
