UAE temperatures set to rise, may reach 42°C today, warns NCM

The United Arab Emirates is expected to see a noticeable rise in temperatures today, according to the National Center of Meteorology.

While skies will remain partly cloudy across the country, temperatures could climb up to 42°C in some areas. In Dubai, the maximum temperature is expected to reach around 37°C, while Abu Dhabi may see highs of about 38°C.

Winds are forecast to blow from the northeast to northwest at speeds between 10 and 25 km/h, occasionally reaching up to 40 km/h. Dust and reduced visibility are possible, especially in northern and eastern regions, prompting authorities to advise caution for motorists.

Sea conditions may become rough at times in the northern Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea, while remaining relatively calm elsewhere.
