UAE announces Eid Al Adha school break from May 25 to 29

The Ministry of Education has confirmed that the mid-term break for the third academic term, aligned with Eid al-Adha, will run from May 25 to 29 for students, teachers, and administrative staff across the United Arab Emirates.

Students will return to classes on June 1 to continue the final term. Mock examinations are scheduled for June 15 and 16 to assess readiness ahead of final exams and help schools identify areas needing improvement.

The academic calendar also includes a holiday for the Islamic New Year on June 17, followed by end-of-term examinations from June 24 to July 3. The last official school day will be July 3.

Make-up exams will take place from July 6 to 9, with results released on July 12 and 13. Re-sit exams are planned between July 14 and 17, with final results announced on July 20.

Officials said the schedule is designed to ensure structured academic progression while giving students a short break before key assessments.
