Kuwait City: Kuwait’s Ministry of Education has decided to link the start date of twelfth-grade final examinations to the official announcement of the Islamic New Year holiday, aiming to provide students with additional preparation time.
The decision was announced following a meeting chaired by Education Minister Jalal Al-Tabtabai, who reviewed educational developments, exam preparations and feedback received from students, parents and the educational community.
According to the ministry, the move comes in response to changes related to official holidays and reflects its commitment to safeguarding students’ interests. Officials said the revised approach will help students prepare more effectively for their final examinations while maintaining stability in the educational process.
The ministry stressed that the decision aims to provide suitable educational and organisational conditions, ensuring students can sit for their exams in a fair environment that supports academic achievement and success.
