Kuwait City: Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy has restored electricity supply to affected areas after emergency teams repaired a technical fault at the Al-Khiran Main Substation.
According to the ministry, the unexpected malfunction at the substation disrupted power distribution to several areas connected to the national electricity network.
Emergency technical teams were immediately deployed to identify and repair the fault, with restoration work carried out on a priority basis to minimise disruption.
Officials confirmed that electricity has begun returning gradually to Al-Mutla, with power being restored in phases while ensuring the stability and safety of the national power grid.
The ministry said engineers will continue monitoring the network until electricity supply is fully restored across all affected areas and normal operations are maintained.
Authorities also assured residents that technical teams remain on standby to address any further issues and ensure uninterrupted electricity services.
