Kuwait City: The Embassy of India in Kuwait has announced that its consular, passport and visa services will remain restricted to emergency cases only until July 19 due to administrative reasons.

According to the embassy, only applicants who can provide supporting documents proving the urgency of their request will be eligible for services during this period.

The emergency services that will continue include:

Tatkal passport issuance
NRI certificates
Short-validity passports linked to expiring Civil IDs
Emergency Certificates
E-visa services

The embassy clarified that regular passport applications, attestation services and standard visa applications will not be accepted or processed until further notice.

It also announced that all Indian Consular Application Centres (ICACs) in Kuwait will stop accepting applications until a new notification is issued.

Applicants requiring emergency services must visit the embassy’s Consular Section between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm, along with documents supporting the urgent nature of their request.

The embassy has urged members of the Indian community in Kuwait to rely only on its official website and social media platforms for further announcements and updates regarding the restoration of normal services.
