Dubai and Abu Dhabi Roll Out New Travel Perks to Attract Tourists

Dubai and Abu Dhabi are introducing new travel incentives aimed at attracting more international visitors to the UAE. Emirates has expanded its flexible booking benefits for passengers travelling to Dubai, while Abu Dhabi has launched a visa-fee waiver for eligible Indian tourists as part of a pilot programme.

Emirates now offers unlimited free date changes on a wider range of Economy and Business Class fares. Cancellation and refund fees have also been reduced, with some Economy and Business fares now eligible for refunds for as little as USD 25. Travellers flying onward to other destinations can also make one free date change and lock in their selected fare for up to 24 hours.

Abu Dhabi is offering eligible Indian passport holders a free 30-day UAE tourist visa for trips completed between August 1 and October 31, 2026. Travellers must book a package that includes at least three consecutive nights in Abu Dhabi through participating travel partners. The pilot programme is limited to 20,000 visas, and all applications remain subject to UAE immigration approval and standard checks.
