Kuwait Reopens Some King Fahd Road Lanes, Closes Others for 15 Days

Kuwait: The Ministry of Public Works (MPW), in coordination with the General Traffic Department, will introduce new traffic arrangements on King Fahd Road (Road 40) from Friday night, November 6, as part of asphalt maintenance works scheduled to continue for 15 days.

Under the new arrangements, the slow lane, slow-middle lane and right shoulder will reopen to motorists. The exit from the Second Ring Road onto King Fahd Road will also reopen, along with the entrance from King Fahd Road to the Third Ring Road towards the south and the entrance and exit serving the Nuzha area.

However, motorists will face new closures on another section of King Fahd Road. The slow lane, slow-middle lane, half of the middle lane and the shoulder will be closed during the maintenance period. The exit from the Third Ring Road onto King Fahd Road will also remain closed.

The Ministry of Public Works urged motorists to exercise caution, follow traffic signs and use designated alternative routes to ensure smooth traffic movement and public safety throughout the maintenance work.
