Ras Al Khaimah Police Unveil Security and Traffic Plan for 2026 New Year’s Eve

Ras Al Khaimah Police have detailed their integrated security and traffic plan for New Year’s Eve 2026, coordinating with government and strategic partners to ensure safe and orderly celebrations across the emirate. The plan includes the deployment of more than 70 traffic patrols to manage flow in high-traffic and tourist areas, alongside enhanced monitoring through the Operations Department’s control room, equipped with latest technology and trained personnel.

Authorities emphasized the importance of public cooperation, urging residents and visitors to follow traffic rules and police instructions to maintain road safety and overall security. Special attention will be given to managing congestion around popular event venues, with police teams positioned to respond quickly to incidents and ensure smooth movement.

The police also issued clear warnings against inappropriate behavior, including the use of party sprays, reckless driving, and excessive noise, noting that such actions could result in fines or legal action. Compliance with guidelines is essential not only for individual safety but also to preserve Ras Al Khaimah’s family-friendly atmosphere and positive reputation as a celebration destination.

For emergencies, the public can contact the central Operations Room at 999, while non-urgent inquiries should be directed to 901. The comprehensive plan reflects the emirate’s proactive approach to major public events, balancing festive freedom with responsible conduct to ensure a secure and enjoyable start to 2026 for all.
