Kuwait Launches Paperless Digital Home Ownership Document via Sahel App

Kuwait’s Sahel app has introduced a new paperless digital service for issuing home ownership documents, developed in partnership with several government entities. The fully automated process eliminates paperwork and manual applications, requiring citizens to visit offices only for final contract signing.

Officials from the Kuwait Credit Bank, Public Authority for Housing Welfare, Kuwait Municipality, and Ministry of Justice highlighted the service as a key step in national digital transformation. The system automatically activates procedures once requirements are met, exchanging data between institutions to streamline what was previously a multi-step, time-consuming process. The initiative aims to enhance service integration and reduce in-person visits for citizens.
