Kuwait Municipality has launched an extensive field inspection campaign targeting commercial establishments in Hawally Governorate to verify shop licenses and advertising permits. The campaign, led by the Audit and Municipal Services Monitoring Department, has resulted in strict action against businesses found violating regulations.
In the first phase alone, authorities recorded 65 violations related to shop operations and advertisements. Inspection teams across Hawally removed unauthorized advertising boards and initiated legal procedures against offenders.
The municipality confirmed that similar inspections will continue in all governorates in the coming weeks according to a special schedule prepared by the Public Relations Department. Officials have urged business owners to renew their licenses and advertising permits on time and comply with municipal rules to avoid penalties.
