Authorities in Kuwait carried out extensive inspections of goat-rearing plots in the Kabd area to ensure compliance with regulations. The checks were conducted under the direction of the Director General of the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources, Eng. Salem Al-Hai. Several plots were found to be operating in violation of the conditions under which they were originally allotted.
Officials said strict legal action will be taken against plot holders who breached the rules. Land allocated for agricultural and livestock purposes must be used only for approved activities, and misuse could lead to administrative measures including cancellation of plot licenses.
The authority stressed that there will be zero tolerance for violations as part of efforts to protect agricultural land and ensure it is used to support production rather than for unauthorised purposes.
