Bharat Mela 2026 Draws Over 250,000 Visitors in Kuwait

The Embassy of India in Kuwait, in collaboration with Kuwait’s Touristic Enterprise Company, hosted Bharat Mela 2026 at the Green Island beachfront, attracting more than 250,000 visitors. The festival celebrated India’s culture, cuisine and heritage, bringing together the Indian community, diplomats and residents of various nationalities.

The event was inaugurated by Ambassador-Designate Paramita Tripathi and featured traditional performances, Indian regional cuisines, cultural exhibits and interactive experiences. Over 700 artists presented 57 performances, while more than 30 stalls offered food, handicrafts and games.

Held from noon to 8 pm with free entry, the festival highlighted India’s unity in diversity and strengthened cultural ties between India and Kuwait.
