Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense has confirmed that since the start of the Iranian attacks, a total of 178 ballistic missiles and 384 drones have been detected and successfully intercepted.
Ministry spokesperson Colonel Saud Al Atwan said that 27 members of the Kuwaiti armed forces sustained injuries during the operations. He noted that all injured personnel are in stable condition, with two still undergoing medical treatment. The ministry also confirmed that two members of the Kuwait Naval Force were killed in the line of duty.
The spokesperson stated that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces remain on full alert and are operating around the clock with high readiness. All developments are being closely monitored to ensure the country’s security and stability.
Authorities urged citizens and residents to rely only on official sources for accurate information. The ministry also called on the public to refrain from sharing rumours or unverified videos circulating on social media and to act responsibly during this period.
