Kuwait Schools Shift to Online Attendance Only

Kuwait’s Ministry of Education has announced that all public and private schools across the country will suspend in person attendance on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, due to the current regional situation.

According to instructions issued by education district directors to supervisors, school principals, assistant principals, department heads, teachers and administrative staff are not required to report physically to school premises.

The circular stated that attendance must be recorded exclusively through the Microsoft Teams application. Administrative duties and teaching activities will also continue remotely through the same platform.

The ministry said the decision aims to ensure the safety of students and staff while allowing educational operations to proceed without interruption. All schools have been directed to strictly comply with the instructions.
