An 11 year old expatriate girl has died after being seriously injured by falling drone debris in a residential area of the Capital Governorate, according to the Kuwait Ministry of Health.
The ministry’s official spokesperson, Abdullah Al Sanad, said the report was received through medical emergency services from Al Amiri Hospital indicating that the child had suffered severe injuries following the incident.
Emergency medical teams immediately responded and began treatment while transporting the child to the hospital. Despite receiving urgent medical care during the ambulance transfer and after arrival at Al Amiri Hospital, doctors were unable to save her life.
The girl’s mother and three other members of the family were also injured in the incident. They are currently receiving medical treatment and remain under observation in hospital to ensure their safety and monitor their condition.
The Ministry of Health expressed its deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the family of the deceased child. Authorities continue to monitor the situation as investigations into the incident proceed.
