Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense announced that several aerial threats attempting to enter the country’s airspace early this morning were successfully intercepted and destroyed.
According to the ministry, Kuwait’s air defence systems responded immediately and neutralised the targets before they could reach their intended locations.
During the interception operations, debris from the destroyed targets reportedly fell onto a residential house within the country. The incident caused injuries to some individuals and resulted in material damage to property.
Authorities confirmed that the injured were provided with the necessary medical treatment and that emergency teams responded quickly to the situation.
The Ministry of Defense stated that Kuwait’s armed forces will continue carrying out their duties to safeguard the country’s sovereignty, security and stability. Officials also affirmed that all necessary measures are being taken to protect the nation’s territory and ensure the safety of citizens and residents.
