Kuwait’s Prime Minister Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah conducted an inspection visit to the iconic Liberation Tower to review the readiness of the country’s communication infrastructure.
The visit was attended by the Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Affairs Omar Al Omar and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Communications and Information Technology Regulatory Authority, Khaled Al Sameel.
During the tour, officials briefed the Prime Minister on the progress of operations related to telecommunications services, information systems and digital infrastructure. Detailed updates were provided on measures taken to ensure continuity and stability of communication services under the current circumstances.
The Prime Minister stressed the importance of maintaining the highest levels of preparedness and operational efficiency, particularly in light of ongoing regional developments. He highlighted that robust and secure communication systems are essential for protecting national interests and supporting state institutions.
He also expressed confidence in the capabilities of national workforce members and officials from telecommunications companies, praising their commitment and professionalism in addressing current challenges.
The inspection visit forms part of ongoing efforts by authorities to monitor key facilities and strengthen the resilience of Kuwait’s critical infrastructure.
