The Kuwait National Guard announced on Saturday that a drone was successfully shot down near a security site under its protection.
Authorities said the action was part of precautionary measures aimed at strengthening the protection of key facilities and responding swiftly to potential threats.
The National Guard urged citizens and residents to strictly follow safety and security instructions issued by official authorities.
Officials also confirmed that security units remain on high alert and fully prepared to respond to any developments. Operations are being carried out in coordination with the Kuwait Armed Forces, Kuwait Police and the Kuwait Fire Force.
Authorities reaffirmed that security agencies will continue to take all necessary measures to safeguard the country’s stability, national interests and the safety of citizens and residents.
