Kuwait City: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced that security agencies have foiled a planned terrorist attack targeting major institutions in the country. Based on inspections and intelligence, 10 Kuwaiti citizens belonging to a terrorist group affiliated with Hezbollah were arrested. The investigation found that they tried to exchange information and location coordinates of the targeted centers with foreign groups.
The investigation revealed that the suspects received training in camps affiliated with Hezbollah, and were trained in the use of weapons and drone control. The terrorist group, which included 14 Kuwaiti citizens and two Lebanese nationals, was arrested two days ago.
The Ministry of Interior warned that strict action will be taken against those who threaten the security and sovereignty of the country, and that all those involved in such terrorist plans will be identified and legal action will be taken.
