Kuwait City: Kuwait’s Minister of State for Communication and Information Technology and Acting Minister of Information and Culture, Omar Al Omar, conducted a surprise visit to the Ministry of Information on Friday to assess its operational readiness.
The visit comes in light of the current regional situation, with the aim of ensuring that media operations continue smoothly even during the Eid Al Fitr holidays. The minister reviewed how different departments are functioning and emphasized the importance of uninterrupted communication services.
During the visit, he praised the dedication and professionalism of ministry staff who continued to work with a strong sense of responsibility and national commitment, even during the festive period.
He also acknowledged the sacrifices made by employees who chose to serve the country instead of spending time with their families during Eid. Their efforts, he said, play a vital role in maintaining media security and ensuring the steady flow of information.
The minister urged officials to remain vigilant, especially given the current regional developments, and highlighted that the commitment shown by media professionals sets an example for future generations.
