Riyadh: Saudi Arabia’s Public Transport Authority has launched two new passenger bus routes connecting border checkpoints with Kuwait to major airports in the Kingdom.
The first route links the Al Khafji border checkpoint with King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. The second route connects the Al Ruqai border checkpoint with Al Qaisumah International Airport.
Each route will operate six direct trips in both directions daily, providing a total of 12 services per day.
The initiative aims to improve travel convenience for passengers arriving from Kuwait by land, allowing them to easily continue their journeys via Saudi airports.
Authorities said the move is part of broader efforts to strengthen transport connectivity between border crossings and key aviation hubs.
