The Knowledge and Human Development Authority has introduced new home-based learning services for children aged up to six, expanding flexible education options for families in Dubai.
The initiative allows private early childhood centres to offer centre-led home-based learning groups and supervised home tutoring, ensuring continuity of education during periods of disruption while maintaining quality and safety standards.
A key feature of the programme is the introduction of CLHL hubs, which are small, nursery-style learning groups conducted in approved homes. Each hub can accommodate up to eight children from different families and is supervised by qualified centre staff.
The move aims to provide structured early education in a more flexible environment, supporting both children’s development and family needs.
