Kuwait City: Dr. Dirk Rotenberg has arrived in Kuwait to officially assume his duties as Germany’s new ambassador, marking the beginning of his diplomatic mission in the country.
Soon after his arrival, Ambassador Rotenberg held a meeting with Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Paramita Tripathi. According to a post shared by the Indian envoy on X, the two diplomats discussed the strategic partnership between India and Germany, as well as regional developments and other issues of mutual interest.
Ambassador Rotenberg takes up his post at a time when Germany and Kuwait continue to strengthen cooperation across a range of sectors, including politics, trade, investment and cultural exchange.
He succeeds Christian von Reibnitz, who previously served as Germany’s ambassador to Kuwait.
The appointment is expected to further support diplomatic engagement and bilateral cooperation between Germany and Kuwait in the coming years.
