Traffic restrictions will be introduced on King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Road for one week starting Saturday, August 8, Kuwait’s General Directorate of Traffic has announced. The restriction will affect the road’s two right-hand lanes, along with the secondary entrance leading towards Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Road, also known as the Fifth Ring Road, opposite the Bayan area.
The temporary closures are being implemented as part of ongoing road construction works. Authorities have urged motorists to drive carefully through the affected area and strictly follow traffic signs and instructions. Drivers have also been advised to consider alternative routes wherever possible.
Motorists are encouraged to allow extra travel time and check the latest traffic updates before starting their journeys. The temporary restrictions are expected to remain in place for one week from August 8.
