Kuwait’s Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) has activated a new online service allowing women citizens to update their existing housing applications through the Sahel app. The service, introduced under the Women’s Housing Committee, is part of the authority’s efforts to expand digital housing services.
The update applies to women citizens who submitted priority-based rental housing applications in 2020 or earlier. Applicants can use the relevant electronic service on Sahel to review their existing information and update it according to their current circumstances.
PAHW said keeping housing application details accurate will help streamline future procedures, manage priority lists more efficiently and ensure eligible applicants receive services without unnecessary delays. The authority added that efforts are continuing to make housing services more transparent, accessible and efficient while protecting the housing rights of women citizens.
