Kuwait’s Communications and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) has launched the “My Numbers” service through the unified government Sahel application in cooperation with telecommunications companies operating in Kuwait. The service is part of efforts to accelerate digital transformation and strengthen the protection of users’ rights.
The new service allows citizens and residents to view all telephone lines and telecommunications services registered under their names with different telecom providers through the Sahel app. The facility is designed to make it easier for users to verify their registered services and identify any numbers or connections they may not recognise.
CITRA said the service will help improve digital awareness, strengthen transparency and protect users’ digital privacy. The authority urged residents and citizens to check their registered numbers through Sahel after the service becomes available and ensure that their personal information and telecommunications records are accurate and secure.
