Abu Dhabi City Municipality has provided three air-conditioned walking facilities to help residents and visitors stay active during the summer while enjoying outdoor spaces in greater comfort.
The facilities are located at Al Khalidiyah Park, Al Mamoura Walkway and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Park, giving the community several options for walking and exercising despite high summer temperatures and humidity.
The initiative is part of Abu Dhabi’s efforts to develop public facilities that take the local climate into account while promoting healthy lifestyles, community wellbeing and quality of life. The air-conditioned walking spaces are also intended to encourage greater use of public areas during the hotter months.
